Nau mai, haere mai

We are a neighbourhood church in Brooklyn, Wellington. We continue more than a century of the Anglican Church’s ministry here in Brooklyn. We exist to be a local expression of God’s hope, to be a place of prayer over Wellington City, and to help foster belonging and connection in our neighbourhood.

We gather each Sunday at Brooklyn Community Centre (18 Harrison Street) for coffee at 9.15am, followed by a one hour service from 9.30am, which includes both modern and traditional elements. Kids and families are welcome. On the first Sunday of each month, we are at Two Todman (2 Todman Street) for a community waffle breakfast.

Brooklyn Anglicans is an inclusive community which welcomes all beliefs, genders and sexualities. We are a plant of Re-New Communities, a network of churches and ministries which exist to revive the local Church. Our network includes Blueprint Church, Brooklyn Anglicans, and The Wellington Free Store. We are a Pioneer Mission Venture of the  Anglican Diocese of Wellington.
